2024 WDAA world show adventure!

After working our butts off all year we all qualified and attended the 2024 WDAA World Show. The team had so much fun! The week started off with rail and equitation classes where everyone came out with a ribbon. Day 2 kicked off test one of each level, and we had some great rides. Ron and Rocky had their personal best at Level 1, Jessie and Cal placed top 10 in the open basic, and JoAnn and Cal broke 70%! Day 3 brought more test riding and more great scores, including a top 10 finish for JoAnn and Cal in the basic amateur. Day 4 was more tests, more great scores, and freestyle night!

Jessie and Chocolate were reserve world champion level 5 test 3 open and performed their first ever freestyle that night in the main ring. The Disney themed performance was a crowd favorite and scored well with the judge. The pair are looking forward to performing their Disney themed freestyle AND a new one in the works for the 2025 World Show. On our final day of showing we had thunder, lightning, and pouring rain! JoAnn and JS Enlighten broke 70% and earned a top 10 finish in the basic level amateur. Jessie and Chocolate saved the best for last earning world champion in level 5 test 4 where they scored a perfect 10 on their extended trot tour. We ended the show with the awards ceremony where Jessie and Chocolate ended the week reserve champion overall for the open level 5 division. So much fun was had and the whole team can't wait to return for 2025!
